When the students becomes the teachers…
We had a blast last week hosting the 3rd graders from Daisy Elementary for a tour of our sugar bush and a lesson in collecting sap and making syrup!
It was really neat to see our boys demonstrating their knowledge and compassion in this way — and also to see how eager, receptive, and curious the 3rd graders were. This is always a highlight of our sugaring season.
